update

I have been recently playing with nets of shapes, and when you work them you create 'network', I like some of the visuals but i think i need to make them say more than what they are at the moment. I have come up with lots of starting bits of ideas but am abit stuck on were to take them. This afternoon will hopefully prove to be very useful.

I have been really busy recently, trying to sort out my exhibition (my elective), and so have decided to focus more on the Orange Brief. As part of my research I have been collecting leaflets and images associated with orange. I like the idea of using Heinz spaghetti to generate optimistic images for the campaign, utilizing the concept of extended networks. I have been experimenting with spider webs and money spiders, weave your perfect contract. Spider webs are the extended networks of the spider. As well as tree images as these create images of a company that has solid foundations (roots), a flourishing company that is ever expanding.

My next step is to decide on images with which I can recreate out of spaghetti.

Project 1 - Orange,

out of the three projects this one appeals to me most, as i am keen on illustration. I like trying to communicate things through images. The project requires the generation of optimistic images, as 'the future is bright the future is orange.'

first impressions, i like the idea of exploring both new and old forms of communication, looking at how we have developed this process through to what exists today. The concept of Evolution and growth interests me.

Project 2 - Doritos,

I chose this project over the national bingo project, as it had more scope and seemed more free. I like the idea of play and the fact they are targeting my age range as there audience. It seems fun and exciting.
